About the Program
NADAPβs Workforce Development Initiative offers free employment services, career training, and education referrals to Nassau County residents impacted by substance use. Whether you are in recovery or working with a treatment provider, our goal is to support your journey toward financial independence and long-term success.
Our Services
- Job PlacementΒ β Matching individuals with stable, long-term employment opportunities.
- Career TrainingΒ β Short-term training programs in customer service, food handling, security guard certification (8 & 16 hours), and more.
- Education ReferralsΒ β Connecting clients to programs that enhance skills and career prospects.

Who Will Benefit?
- Individuals in RecoveryΒ β The program will offer job readiness, employment, and career support for individuals in recovery from substance use disorder.
- SUD Treatment ProvidersΒ β The program will strengthen client support by offering job placement and training services.
- Local EmployersΒ β Employers will have access to motivated candidates eager to contribute to the workforce.
- The CommunityΒ β The initiative will help reduce unemployment and support long-term recovery in Nassau County.
